evan is damn straight, ive been fortunate to travel this country quite abit , and all the places from the south, to the east coast to the midwest, western high desert, southwest, texas etc all have nice things about them but yeah when you have all the amazing things ca has to offer from, the drop dead gorgeous sierra's, tahoe, central valley, yosemite, san fran, the one, south coast, deserts really no other state comes even close to what ca offers. cultural diversity on such a large scale is 2nd to none as well. to call a place like santa barbara home is just that much better. the thing is the powers that be want to save the state and preserve it as much as it can, they tend to do quite abit of this with smog regulations, which to an extent is good but honestly not the real answer and the way they go about it just makes me scratch my head.
